Don’t miss the Actuarial Innovation in the Covid-19 Era, a webinar series organised by the IFoA (26 Apr – 7 May). The event sees a great line up of exciting workshops and leading speakers from around.

The fortnight of webinars will close with my reflections on the pandemic and its impact on the IFoA and the wider profession.

I will be joined by Stuart MacDonald, Nicola Oliver, Grahame Stott and Colin Dutkiewicz in exploring lessons learnt and debating on how future communities can be encouraged within the IFoA umbrella. Annette Spencer, Director of Policy and Public Affairs of the IFoA will be the moderator.

Full programme details and speaker profiles are available on IFoA’s website.

About the Actuarial Innovation in the Covid-19 Era

Drawing on the broad range of activity undertaken by members across the IFoA, including the IFoA COVID-19 Action Taskforce (ICAT), the C-19 Actuaries Response Group (ARG), and the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI), the programme offers thought-provoking topics and innovative ideas aimed at actuaries wishing to hear about the experiences of their peers across the world during the global pandemic, as well as future projections that may impact the sector moving forward.
